History

Myrtle is the youngest daughter of a Chaos Insurgency founder, raised to be an ambitious and cunning spy. To facilitate her covert operations, at an early age she had a secret, experimental bit of surgery done; they did something to her nerves, making it so that her natural body language would project a memetic effect. This effect would allow her to hide in plain sight, with her body language tricking viewer’s minds into not noticing her, even if she’s right in front of them. In her mid to late teens, she began taking a more active role in the Insurgency’s work, killing off persons of interest to her sect and stealing items of interest before the Foundation could get their sterile mitts on them.

After a successful hit on a smaller-scale Foundation Site for reconnaissance, Myrtle was tasked- no, dared to break into a specific, out of the way Foundation base and see what wonders they had hidden away from the world. She was to enter and break the black-boxed SCP’s containment, to let it free to roam the world.

I think it’s safe to say that she’s failed.

What does your character fear? In addition to hardwired stagefright, she is not particularly fond of AIs more advanced than Cleverbot and has an irrational fear of execution devices, to the point of avoiding any establishment that contain one altogether.

What are your character's goals? To escape the House; otherwise, to find and collect anything that would be of use to the Chaos Insurgency’s ultimate goals.

If your character could be an animal, which one would it be? Does a mermaid count? And not like, a manatee or whatever. If it doesn’t, pit vipers are cool.

What is your character's dearest wish? Deep down, she just wants to be able to have a quiet life in a little fishing town, without all the edges and thrills she’s grown so accustomed to.

Why is your character here? She exercised a startling lapse in judgment, when asked to infiltrate a Foundation ‘vault’ and set loose whatever was within. She was proud.

If your character had a tattoo, or another one, what would it be? The constellation Draco, on her shoulder blade.

If your character could have any superpower, what would it be? Heat Vision.

What is your character's greatest weakness? It’s a tossup between pride and an over-reliance on her memetics. She has a very specific set of skills.

What is your character's greatest strength? Myrtle always finds a way to win.

MISC: Myr's Power works differently than in that other RP, and she is not able to make you forget her.
