Description:

Here's a picture. 35 years old, brown eyes, 5'7". And he does dress like that.

Background:

Born in 1977 in Bumfuck Nowhere, Iowa6 to a middle class family. Always been a bit of a computer nerd, graduated high in his class and moved out to Chicago to become a computer scientist, and was able to eek out a living there. He found the SCP wiki in 2010 and became a rabid fan, reading everything that came across the site and even contributing four SCPs of his own.

Jake comes from a place extremely close to our world — the one that we, as players, inhabit. The SCP Foundation and the assorted GoIs and entities associated with it are purely fictional concepts made by bored people on the internet. The only exception is that the Tamlin House RP does not exist in Jake's world.

Jake was writing a very unique SCP article — one describing an entity that could come out of fiction and drag the reader to other dimensions — and accidentally described a real entity, which, due to its properties, was summoned. It kidnapped him and plopped him into the Tamlin House.
