Fantem looks like the average grey tabby cat, if they wore clothes. He has many scorch marks, scars, and stitches obscured by his clothing, all of which are healed, but still noticeable if unclothed.

Background:

Not much is known about Fantem, outside of him being a stray cat that was found somewhere in the lower levels of the Tamlin House, and he somehow received a medical degree.

Fantem grew up with his adopted father, Samil Vossler, the proud owner of seven other adopted offspring. Vossler had his children do various chores, like toiling in the Vossler garden, picking and planting whatever was growing at the time, cleaning, cooking a grand feast every night, exclusively for Vossler, raising the younger children, and anything else Vossler desired. Vossler often starved, beaten, and sometimes, even murdered those under his care.

Fantem was often the one to go to when Vossler was too loving. He found himself fixing broken bones, treating internal scars, and in extreme cases, amputating limbs. He often stayed quiet and submissive to prevent Vosslers abuse, sometimes staying away from his attention, but not always. One night, he successfully treated a victim, who was inches away from death, and would have made a full recovery, if Vossler didn't find them. Vossler finished his work with the patient, and attacked Fantem, angry of what he undone. Vossler picked Fantem up, tied him, and the now dead patient up to a cinder block, and left them into the ocean to drown.

When Fantem awoke, he found himself inside a strange room covered from floor to ceiling in blue pipes.
