For 1 Willpower, Elizabeth can call up the ghosts of her dead children. They do not respond, or speak, and all they do is stare accusingly at whomever she is focused on. The children stick around for five minutes.


There's a stereotype about Southern women that still hasn't gone away. Elizabeth manages to live up to that stereotype - warm, welcoming, hospitable, with brown hair braided elegantly behind her back, and a friendly face and attitude. She's usually wearing jeans and a simple top, loose, and appropriate to the climate, and, generally, she's a lovely figure in the grim, foreboding house. A close eye might notice the tattoo on her wrist: D-3600.


Elizabeth had a fairly decent life in the heart of Tennessee, second daughter of a group of farmers who hadn't yet given up on the soil. Life in America's heartland was good and wholesome, and after a whirlwind romance with a local boy who charmed her - and then did a bit more than charming - they hastily got married.

And, generally, marriage was good. He worked as a mechanic, while she raised their two children - two boys - as best she could, as warm, welcoming members of the community. Sure, there were mild disagreements, problems that began to let them split apart, but she always, always worked at making his life better.

Unfortunately, he didn't do the same. When she found out he was leaving her for a woman he was working with, the fragile veneer of her life snapped, and she was shortly after arrested for the murder of him and her two children. It was ironic that they'd work so hard to keep her alive, just to give her the death sentence.

After five years of extended trials and appeals, she wound up on Death Row, looking at six months before she was put on the table. Say what you will about Tennessee, but they're quick at their executions. And when the opportunity came up to dodge her execution, she took it as quickly as she could.
