Reincarnation: 69
Prerequisites: None
Restrictions: None
Willpower Cost: N/A
Description: Daniel is a member of a seven-entity cycle that has become entangled with one another metaphysically due to their simultaneous entry to the House, taking each others' places in a cycle.

If Daniel suffers a physical death (that is, his Physical Health drops below 0), his body will vanish, and in his place will appear Izumo Soho. Daniel does not recover Mental Health over time, as it is a fundamentally unstable arrangement. If a character with Reincarnation suffers a mental death, they are removed from the cycle and cease to exist.

Caucasian (Jewish descent), white hair, slight build, 5'6", sharp blue eyes. Tends to dress semi-formally even outside of official matters. Used to have glasses but they were broken. 60 years old.

Born 1953 in Jerusalem, Daniel went to law school immediately after his service in the armed forces was over. He quickly became a successful prosecutor before moving into politics, working his way up to Israel's parliament before becoming his country's ambassador to the United Nations. Upon his appointment, he was inducted into the GOC as a liason due to his political skill and previously stated concern for the survival of humanity (albeit in the context of a nuclear war). His recruiters might have had some intuition about his ability to disrupt the supernatural.

Maintaining his post at the UN, Daniel also worked his way up in the GOC, generally getting promoted each time a position opened up above him. Positions had a tendency to open up above him. In 2003, the previous director of the GOC resigned under suspicious circumstances; Daniel, being her second-in-command, was given the position. He took the name Director Tempo, juggling his responsibilities as both the Israeli ambassador and as the director of the GOC.

In Daniel's universe, the GOC had won. Virtually all parathreats that could be destroyed were destroyed, and those that could not were contained. No groups were known to exist that could create or attempted to exploit anomalies. Any new threats that popped up were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

It happened in less than an hour. What was believed to be a military spy satellite turned out to be a relic from the long-since defunct SCP Foundation. It self-activated as revenge against the agency that destroyed its creators, firing at an intensity higher than ever before, blowing out its reactor in the process. The damage to spacetime was irreversible; by the time Director Tempo had even heard about it, the area of effect had already spread over China and Malaysia. He tried to run, like everyone else, but ultimately, it was futile. He was engulfed on his way to the failsafe, the horrendous uproar of the process rendering him permanently deaf.

Many went completely insane, or died, or worse. Many others were displaced to places in space and time unknowable and unthinkable. Director Tempo, formerly Ambassador Daniel Shapiro, was sent into the Tamlin House. The timing of this got him entangled with six other entities in a reincarnation cycle.
