You have a better then even chance of figuring out if a room is dangerous, and for some reason, you always perk up when you enter a room with an artifact. Make sure the GM knows you have this perk. You are also known to other House Natives.
  • House Direction: 3 points. You can always tell which 'direction' the Common Rooms are. It might take a while, but you can generally find your way to any room you've already visited.


  • Short Temper: 1 Point. You have a hard time dealing with things when they don't go your way. After failing a challenge, you must make a willpower challenge to not go off.
  • Crude: 1 Point. Blunt can be one thing, but you are downright vulgar. You are at +1 difficulty when dealing with any situation that requires tact or social grace.

Colubrine is a tall, pale young woman with a lean, well-muscled figure and a nearly-flat chest. Her hips are well-formed. Her black hair reaches a few inches past her shoulders, and her eye is hazel. Her teeth are crooked and her nose looks like it’s been broken at some point in the past, being slightly crooked. She has a large electrical burn scar on her back and two smaller ones on the palms of her hands. Her skin is lightly freckled.


Colubrine was born in the House. Her mother, Sarah Page, was an operative for Serpent’s Hand in search of lost knowledge, while her father, Timothy Brown, worked for Marshall, Carter, and Dark before becoming lost in the House. By the time she was born, each had been in the House for over 3 years, resulting in Colubrine coming out a little strange.

Sarah died of illness when Colubrine was 6 years old, and from then on Timothy played the role of a single father as best as he knew how. He taught Colubrine how to fight, how to hunt, and most of all how to survive, passing on an attitude that Colubrine would wholeheartedly embrace. When Colubrine was 19, the House finally caught up to Timothy in one of its rooms, and the young woman was left on her own. Not knowing what else to do, she headed to the Common Rooms…

Colubrine already has a spot in the Barracks, as her and her father used the Common Rooms as a base of operations when not exploring the House.
