Technology specialty: House-made machines.

Perks:

Huge Size: You are at least seven feet tall, and hundreds of pounds in weight. You gain one extra health level.
House Native: You've been in the House for a while, and you have a certain sense about it. You have a better then even chance of figuring out if a room is dangerous, and for some reason, you always perk up when you enter a room with an artifact. Make sure the GM knows you have this perk. You are also known to other House Natives.

Hooks:

Bulky: 2 points. You are very large or unusually shaped. Your detailed maneuvering and comfort in normal-size environments is compromised, and you cannot fit through small spaces. (Applies mostly to non-human characters.)
Slow: 3 points. A quick walking pace is your best all-out sprint. -2 to stamina or other rolls when they require decisive movement.

Powers:

Blast 2: 3 per level
Prerequisites: None.
Restrictions: None.
Willpower Cost: 1
Description: Roll Perception + Blast to produce a ranged attack of some sort, elemental psychic, or otherwise. May be taken three times. The Brass Soldier shoots blue flames out of nozzles on its hands.

Armor 3: 5 points per level
Prerequisites: None
Restrictions: Only works against physical damage.
Willpower Cost: 0
Description: For each level you take in this, you may ignore one level of damage dealt to you by an outside force. You may take this up to three times. The Brass Soldier's entire body is made of a tough, brassy-gold-colored alloy.

Description:

The soldier is eight feet tall and seems to be made of brass. It has long arms that contain a multitude of implements including nozzles that shoot out blue flames, and attachments that somehow tap into the house's veins and allow it to recharge itself through an unknown process. Its head is a brassy helm with a metal grate in the front, which is lit by blue flames when the Soldier is operational.

Background:

The brass soldier was created in the house. Was it? Some of the residents are familiar with the brass soldier and are willing to spread rumors on its behalf. Such as: the brass soldier is Tamlin himself in disguise. The brass soldier was the first creation of Tamlin, now happily roaming the halls for eternity. The brass soldier was sent by a demon from Dis to hunt for the Door to Heaven. The brass soldier is an ordinary human who walked so long and so close to the epicenter of the House that its own history and shape was altered. Possibly it has even been to the space where the House is no longer bounded by doors and walls. The brass soldier is nothing but a man from an alternate past, or from the future, fleeing Tamlin.

In any case: The soldier has been in the house for a long time, its garish suit of armor pitted with strange scars. It does not follow a regular path but marches in far-off reaches of the House alone. It rarely speaks, and when it does, it does so in a strange metallic growl. While it's easily mistaken for such, close analysis of its alloy and ornament would suggest that the brass soldier is not a pure part of the House. Other than that, its motives are obscure.

One of the more convincing rumors is that it's following someone in the House.
